What is JOB CLUB?
Job club is a FREE service for Metro Area Schools. Job Club is perfect for students in transition that are interested in the skills to keep a job .
Helping students with disabilities face the challenges of an ever-changing work world is part of our mission at VODEC, a private non- profit organization since 1968.
Let us Help you Meet your Goals!
As a community service provider, we are able to answer questions about transitioning into adult services.
Our expertise in employment issues enable us to help your students understand and meet the challenges that persons with disabilities face every day in their careers.
As an employer, we help your students understand the expectations of actual employers.
Bring JOB CLUB into YOUR Classroom
Tours and field trips to different service providers are nice, but are not always possible for transition programs to undertake.
Job Club is delivered monthly to the transition classroom. Each month the speaker will discuss a new subject centered on the skills needed to keep a job.
JOB CLUB Speakers
Job club speakers are VODEC staff that have years of supervisory experience. We bring relevant stories of actual situations that have occurred in the work place.
JOB CLUB TOPICS
