What is Job Club?

Job Club is the job skills program that comes to you!  Job Club is available to all Metro Area School’s transition programs and is perfect for students that are interested in the skills to get and keep a job.
Helping students with disabilities face the challenges of an ever-changing work world is part of our mission at VODEC.
Let us Help you Meet your Goals!  Our expertise in employment issues enable us to help students understand and meet the challenges they face every day. As an employer, we help students understand the expectations of actual employers.

Bring Job Club into YOUR Classroom

Tours and field trips to different service providers are nice, but are not always possible for transition programs to undertake.
Job Club is delivered directly to the transition classroom. Our speaker discusses a new subject centered on the skills needed to get and keep a job.

Job Club Speakers

Job club speakers have years of supervisory experience. We bring relevant stories of actual situations that have occurred in the work place.

Sample Job Club Topics

Self Assessments
Emergencies at work
How to Avoid being Fired
Developing Professional Social Skills
Dress Codes
How to Answer Interview Questions
